You do not need to be a Utah resident to use QuickCare Now, but you must be physically located in Utah during the visit. That makes the service useful for eligible travelers who need evaluation while away from their usual clinician.
Virtual care has limits. Dehydration requiring IV treatment, significant injuries, severe abdominal or chest symptoms, breathing emergencies, and conditions needing imaging or procedures should be evaluated locally in person.
- Traveler-friendly: your temporary Utah location can be used for the visit.
- Bring the name/location of a nearby pharmacy if medication may be needed.
- If you are too sick to safely wait for telehealth, seek local urgent or emergency care.
Utah Location Requirement
Your physical location at the time of the visit matters. You must be located in Utah during the appointment. If you are traveling, use the address where you are currently staying for the visit.
If your concern requires an in-person examination, imaging, procedure, or emergency treatment, we will recommend appropriate in-person care.
