Quest, Labcorp, and Lab Testing

When clinically appropriate, QuickCare Now may order laboratory testing as part of your telehealth care. Lab testing is commonly used for blood pressure follow-up, diabetes monitoring, thyroid concerns, cholesterol evaluation, medication monitoring, urinary symptoms, and other appropriate conditions.

Where Do I Go?

Patients may be directed to complete testing through Quest Diagnostics, Labcorp, or another appropriate local laboratory depending on availability and the clinical situation.

Who Bills for Labs?

Laboratory fees are separate from the QuickCare Now visit fee. The laboratory bills the patient or insurance directly according to its policies.

How Results Are Reviewed

When results are received, the provider will review them and recommend next steps. A follow-up telehealth visit may be needed to review results, adjust medications, or create a care plan.

Important Lab Instructions

  • QuickCare Now is an online telehealth practice and does not perform blood draws in an office.
  • Please follow the lab location instructions provided after your visit.
  • Do not go to a walk-in urgent care clinic for QuickCare Now labs unless specifically instructed.
  • Some tests may not be available at every lab location.
  • For urgent or severe symptoms, seek in-person care or emergency care.
